Talvin Singh has Eastern Soul – he has changed the way people look at Indian Classical Music.

To take Indian classical music and mix it in with Western sounds is not easy.

Yet anything Talvin Singh produces he somehow manages to fuse the eastern sound with western sounds to much joy of the listener.

Also to this day Talvin is still learning from his Guru in India and goes back every year to India to learn from His Guru.

Now thats what I call Eastern Soul

    Amal Lad.

Upcoming new musician has left me speechless me on several occasions! His music calms the soul, excites the heart and inspires the mind.

Have a listen to some of his breathtaking originals along with innovative covers of well heard tracks. I think he manages to capture the essence of what music is about – passionately feeling the emotions that cannot be expressed by mere words! :)

By listening to Amal Lad’s music you’d not think that Amal is a self taught musician. A very understated and humble individual he expresses his passion through his compositions. Some of his best pieces are inspired from cultural, devotional and traditional music. His unique ability to internalise these ancient pieces and re-interrupt it through his music means that he keeps music with **depth** alive.

    Amal Lad

Listening to Amal Lad’s music gets to the core of me. It reaches to my extremes, down into whatever it is that makes me human and amplifies it.

His music reminds me of how infinitely beautiful everything is. It amazes me how much emotion and passion is inspired.

What else is the Eastern Soul about?
